Patient Issues The Empathy Project 2017

Patients that were interviewed/shadowed by group 1 have IBS or Chrohns Disease. The patients ranged from 3-18 years old. Their conditions were treated with chemotherapy drugs, complex diets and medications taken as injections.

Patients that were interviewed/shadowed by group 2 have IBS or babies in the NICU. The IBS patient was a teen, while the parents were dealing with the having preterm twins in the NICU for an extended period of time.
